The Rotary Club of Mumbai Shivaji Park was established on 1st August, 1993 and has been providing service to the community in a wide variety of ways ever since.  Please take some time to browse through our website and learn more about who we are and what we do.

 

Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

 

The Rotary Club of Mumbai Shivaji Park is a service organization made up of community-minded business and professional men and women who live or work in Mumbai Shivaji Park and the surrounding area.

 

Today, with a strength of 40 members the club is actively engaged in rendering service to the community in and around Shivaji Park as also in some distant regions, with a view to improving and enhancing the health and lives of people. Through our various avenues of service our emphasis has so far been on education, vocation, health and humanity. The club has received RI Presidential Citation and several other awards for excellence and outstanding work.

 

The object of Rotary Club is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as the basis of worthy enterprise.

  • PDG Soli Pavri Memorial Shield for the Best Community Service by a Club of upto 75 members, jointly with Mumbai Nariman Point
  • Bombay West Trophy for Best Service to Youth by a Club upto 50 members
  • Naval I. Ardeshir Governor 79 - 80 for the Best improved Bulletin Trophy for Clubs with less than 55 members
  • Certificate of Appreciation for Rtn. Kalpana Munshi Trophy for Significant Contribution towards the Welfare of Children in memory of late Shyamsunder Munshi for the year 2010-11
  • Certificate of Appreciation for Rtn. Krishnendu Sen Trophy for the Best Project in Water Management for Clubs upto 50 members for the year 2010-11
  • Certificate of Appreciation for Andheri East Trophy for unusual Rotary Activity by a Club upto 75 members for the year 2010-11
